IPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen) is just a bit better than iPad 3, with a score of 71.3 against 71.1. The iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen) design is way newer, a little bit lighter and much thinner than the iPad 3. IPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen) counts with iPadOS 15.x OS, while iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 OS. Apple iPad 3 counts with a very superior CPU than iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen), although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM memory.
IPad 3 counts with a brighter display than iPad Air 13-inch (6th Gen), because although it has a way smaller screen and a way worse 1536 x 2048 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display.
