IPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024) has a general score of 71.3, which is slightly better than iPad 3's 71.1 general score. IPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024) is a just a little bit lighter and way thinner tablet device than iPad 3. The iPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024) comes with iPadOS 15.x operating system, and iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system.
The iPad 3 has a very superior hardware performance than Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster). The Apple iPad 3 has a more vivid screen than iPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024), because although it has a way worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch.
Apple iPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024) has a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Apple iPad 3, because it has more internal memory capacity.
