Comparison review
Apple iPad Air 2 has an overall score of 74.2, which is a bit better than the iPad 3's 71.1 global score. Both devices in our current comparison use iOS OS (operating system), but Apple iPad Air 2 has a more recent 8.x version and iPad 3 has iOS 6.1. The Apple iPad Air 2 is a way newer tablet device, and it is also extremely lighter and much thinner than iPad 3.
The iPad Air 2 counts with a little more vivid display than iPad 3. Both have the same 2048 x 1536 resolution, a display of the same size and the same amount of pixels per screen inch. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a better performance than Apple iPad 3, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and a 64 bits CPU.
IPad Air 2 features a little bit better camera than iPad 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, a same size aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the iPad Air 2 also has a back camera with a lot higher resolution. IPad 3 counts with a much better storage to install applications and games than iPad Air 2, because it has 48 GB more internal storage.
IPad 3 has a superior battery duration than iPad Air 2, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity.
The Apple iPad Air 2 not only is the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones.
