Comparison review
Apple iPad Air (2019) is much better than the iPad 3, with a score of 85.9 against 71.1. Apple iPad Air (2019) is a noticeably newer device, and it is also incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter than the iPad 3. IPad Air (2019) counts with a much better performing processing unit than iPad 3, because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a higher number of cores (and faster) and a larger amount of RAM memory.
IPad 3 features a slightly better display than iPad Air (2019), although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit worse resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a just a bit less pixels per display inch. The Apple iPad Air (2019) features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 3, because it has 192 GB more internal storage.
The iPad Air (2019) captures better photographs and videos than iPad 3, and although they both have a F2.4 camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the iPad Air (2019) also has a way higher resolution camera and higher video frame rate. The iPad 3 has a superior battery lifetime than iPad Air (2019), because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity against 8134mAh.
IPad Air (2019) is a lot more expensive than Apple iPad 3, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
