The iPad Air (2020) has an overall score of 71.7, which is a little bit better than iPad 3's score of 71.1. The iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x OS, while iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS. The iPad Air (2020) is a noticeably newer device, and it's also noticeably lighter and thinner than iPad 3. IPad 3 counts with a bit better display than Apple iPad Air (2020), although it has a little bit lower 1536 x 2048px resolution and a little bit smaller screen, they both have the same amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a much better performing processor than Apple iPad 3, because it has a 64-bits processing unit and a higher number of cores. The Apple iPad Air (2020) counts with a way better camera than iPad 3, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 video definition, a way larger aperture and a back facing camera with much more MP.
