The iPad Pro is better than Apple iPad 3, with a 79.5 score against 71.1. The iPad Pro construction is notably newer and extremely thinner than Apple iPad 3's, although it's a little heavier. Both of these tablets work with iOS OS (Operating System), but iPad Pro has newer 9.x version and Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 version, so it gives you some nice extra features and optimized performance.

The Apple iPad Pro counts with a more powerful processor than Apple iPad 3, because although it has 1 lesser cores , it also counts with 3 GB more RAM memory. IPad 3 features a bit better battery life than iPad Pro, because it has a 11560mAh battery size. The Apple iPad Pro captures slightly better videos and photos than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have a F2.4 camera aperture, the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Apple iPad Pro also has a back facing camera with a way higher 8 mega pixels resolution.
Apple iPad Pro costs a lot more money than Apple iPad 3, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
