Comparison review
The iPad 3 is a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3, having a score of 71.1 against 65.9. The iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while LG G Pad 8.3 comes with Android 4.4 OS. The iPad 3 is an older, somewhat thicker and noticeably heavier portable tablet than LG G Pad 8.3. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with just a bit better processing power than iPad 3, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM.
LG G Pad 8.3 has a little sharper display than iPad 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a just a little greater quantity of pixels per display inch. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a camera that is very similar to the iPad 3 one, and although the LG G Pad 8.3 has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking pictures in low light situations, they both have the same video resolution, the same resolution back camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
The iPad 3 features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad 3 counts with a much better battery performance than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 151% bigger battery capacity.
Although Apple iPad 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
