Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is better than Microsoft Surface 2, getting a global score of 71.1 against 63.4. Apple iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Apple iPad 3 is an older and just a bit thicker tablet than Microsoft Surface 2, but Apple managed to build it just a little lighter anyway.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit more powerful processor than iPad 3, because it has 2 more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. IPad 3 features a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better screen pixels density and a higher 1536 x 2048 resolution.
IPad 3 counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface 2. They have a back-facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels, the same video definition and the same video frame rates. Apple iPad 3 and Microsoft Surface 2 both feature really similar memory for apps and games, both of them have equal 64 GB internal memory.
The iPad 3 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface 2.
