Comparison review
IPad 3 is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, getting a 71.1 score against 65.1. The iPad 3 is an older tablet than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but it is thinner and much lighter anyway. IPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS. The iPad 3 has a better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel amount in each display inch and a better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than iPad 3, because it has more internal memory. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a little faster CPU than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has a larger amount of RAM.
IPad 3 features a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. IPad 3 takes greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video quality.
The Apple iPad 3 is a bit more expensive than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
