Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is slightly better than Apple iPad 3, having a general score of 75.1 against 71.1. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with Windows 10 Pro operating system, while Apple iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a notably newer and somewhat thinner tablet than the Apple iPad 3, but it's also heavier.
The Apple iPad 3 counts with a much better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has 15 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores. IPad 3 has a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a way smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a quite lower screen density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than iPad 3, because it has 1000 GB internal memory capacity. Apple iPad 3 features a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. The iPad 3 features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video resolution and a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPad 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPad 3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the iPad 3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
