The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a score of 81.5, which is much better than Apple iPad 3's overall score of 71.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a way newer and thinner portable tablet than Apple iPad 3, although it's heavier. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 works with Windows 10 operating system, while Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 operating system.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a faster processing unit than iPad 3, because it has more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Apple iPad 3 has a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a really smaller display, a quite worse number of pixels per screen inch and a way lower resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 3, because it has 1000 GB internal storage. Apple iPad 3 features a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 6. The Apple iPad 3 captures greater pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a worse (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with a much worse 5 MP resolution.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 costs a lot more money than the iPad 3, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
