Comparison review
The iPad 3 has a score of 71.1, which is way better than the Microsoft Surface RT's general score of 58.4. The iPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT OS. The iPad 3 is a a little bit lighter portable tablet than Microsoft Surface RT, but both have the same thickness.
Apple iPad 3 has an incredibly better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a much higher screen density. Microsoft Surface RT's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to the iPad 3 one, both have the same internal memory.
Microsoft Surface RT has a superior processing unit than iPad 3, because it has 1 GB more RAM, a higher number of cores and an additional GPU. The iPad 3 takes a lot better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the iPad 3 also has a back camera with way more mega pixels.
IPad 3 counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
IPad 3 costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
