Comparison review
IPad 3 is a little bit better than the Nokia Lumia 2520, getting a global score of 71.1 against 68.6. Even being the best in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also older, just a bit heavier and a little thicker. The iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 OS, while Nokia Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1 OS.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 counts with a faster processor than iPad 3, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, 2 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. Lumia 2520 has a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a just a bit inferior pixels number per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
The iPad 3 counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Lumia 2520, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. IPad 3 counts with a superior battery duration than Nokia Lumia 2520, because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity.
Nokia Lumia 2520 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Nokia Lumia 2520 also has a lot larger aperture for better low light photos and videos and a much higher resolution camera.
Although iPad 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lumia 2520. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Lumia 2520, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
