Comparison review
The Apple iPad 3 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, getting a overall score of 71.1 against 68.6. Although Apple iPad 3 is a better tablet device than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, we must note that it's also an older, notably thicker and noticeably heavier tablet device. The Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 operating system, while Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system.
The iPad 3 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a larger screen, a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a superior performance than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has an additional graphics co-processor and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Apple iPad 3 has just a bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad 3 has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
IPad 3 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a 5 MP resolution back-facing camera, the iPad 3 also has a lot higher (Full HD) video quality.
