Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is much better than iPad 3's 71.1 overall score. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with Android 10 OS, while iPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 OS. Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a little thicker than iPad 3, it's extremely lighter and a lot newer. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a way better performance than Apple iPad 3, because it has 3 GB more RAM memory and more CPU cores.
The Apple iPad 3 features just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a bit lower number of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a larger display and a quite better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The iPad 3 features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Apple iPad 3, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much better 13 MP resolution camera.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way more expensive than iPad 3, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
