Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a bit better than iPad 3, getting a 77.5 score against 71.1. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro design is notably newer and just a bit lighter, but just a little thicker than the iPad 3. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS, while iPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 OS. Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a better performance than iPad 3, because it has a higher number of faster cores and more RAM memory.
IPad 3 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than iPad 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Apple iPad 3 has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity instead of 7600mAh. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro takes a bit better videos and photos than iPad 3, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Apple iPad 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Apple iPad 3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Apple iPad 3, letting go a couple specs and features.
