Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a general score of 78.5, which is better than iPad 3's 71.1 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has Android 4.4 operating system, and iPad 3 counts with iOS 6.1 operating system. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is heavier than the iPad 3, it's thinner and also newer.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a bit more vivid screen than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a little worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a bigger screen. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a quite better processing power than iPad 3, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster), more RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB. IPad 3 features greater battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because it has a 22 percent larger battery capacity.
The Apple iPad 3 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a back camera with lot less mega-pixels and a worse 1920x1080 video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 not only is the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
