IPad mini 3 has an overall score of 75.3, which is way better than the iPad's overall score of 46.9. Both of these tablets work with iOS OS, but the iPad mini 3 has newer 8.x version while iPad has iOS 5.1, so it gives a lot of extra features. IPad mini 3's body is noticeably newer, a lot lighter and notably thinner than iPad.
IPad mini 3 has a much more powerful processing unit than Apple iPad, because it has a 64-bits CPU, a larger number of cores , an extra graphics processing unit and a greater amount of RAM. The iPad mini 3 features a much sharper screen than Apple iPad, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a way better pixels density.
The iPad mini 3 has a superior memory to store more apps and games than iPad, because it has 64 GB internal storage. The iPad mini 3 shoots much clearer photos and videos than iPad. The Apple iPad mini 3 features a really longer battery lifetime than Apple iPad.
IPad mini 3 costs a little more than Apple iPad, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
