Comparison review
The Apple iPad 4 is just a bit better than the iPod Touch (2019), having a 70.8 score against 66.9. The Apple iPad 4 is a a lot heavier and a lot thicker tablet than iPod Touch (2019). Both tablets in this review come with iOS operating system, but the Apple iPad 4 has a more recent 7.x version and iPod Touch (2019) has iOS 13.x, so it provides some additional features and better performance.
The Apple iPod Touch (2019) counts with just a bit better performance than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores. Apple iPad 4 features a bit sharper display than iPod Touch (2019), because although it has a just a little lower pixel amount per inch in the display, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a lot larger screen.
IPod Touch (2019) counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPad 4, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The iPod Touch (2019) features a battery performance that's very similar to the battery duration in Apple iPad 4. The Apple iPod Touch (2019) features a slightly better camera than Apple iPad 4, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, a F2.4 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Apple iPod Touch (2019) also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than iPod Touch (2019), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPod Touch (2019). So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPad 4, else you can save some dollars and buy the iPod Touch (2019), resigning a couple specs and features.
