Comparison review
The iPad 4 is much better than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, having a 70.8 score against 62.7. Despite being the best we are comparing, the iPad 4 is a notably heavier and much thicker tablet than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. Both of these devices work with the same iOS 7.x OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
IPad 4 has a little bit better performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a 400 megahertz GPU and the same number of cores, the iPad 4 also has 512 MB more RAM. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a little bit better looking screen than iPad 4, because although it has a way smaller screen and a much lower 1136 x 640 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little better display density.
The iPad 4 has a much greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's camera is very similar to iPad 4's camera, both of them have the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera with a 5 MP.

Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the iPod Touch 5th Generation, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
