Comparison review
The iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is a little bit better than the iPod touch 6th generation's global score of 65.6. Both tablets we compare here work with iOS OS (Operating System), but iPad 4 has a more recent 7.x version and iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x version. Although it's the best in this comparison, iPad 4's construction is thicker and noticeably heavier than iPod touch 6th generation.
The iPad 4 counts with just a bit better performance than iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the iPad 4 also has an additional graphics processor. IPad 4 has a bit better looking screen than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has a little worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a really larger display and a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
IPod touch 6th generation takes slightly better photos and videos than Apple iPad 4, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the iPod touch 6th generation also has a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
Apple iPod touch 6th generation's storage for games and applications is very similar to Apple iPad 4's one, they have the same internal storage capacity. The iPod touch 6th generation has a very superior battery performance than Apple iPad 4.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPod touch 6th generation, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPod touch 6th generation. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the iPod touch 6th generation, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
