Comparison review
Apple iPad 4 has a score of 70.8, which is slightly better than Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 general score. Even being the best in this comparison, Apple iPad 4 is a a little bit thicker and a bit heavier portable tablet than the Microsoft Surface 3. The iPad 4 features a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit higher 1536 x 2048 resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with just a bit better performance than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cpu cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Apple iPad 4 takes greater photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a worse video resolution and a camera in the back with a way lower resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 3 and iPad 4 both have very similar storage for applications and games, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. IPad 4 and Microsoft Surface 3 both count with very similar batteries duration.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface 3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Microsoft Surface 3, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
