The iPad 4 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a global score of 70.8 against 65.1. IPad 4 is a much lighter and extremely thinner tablet than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. IPad 4 works with iOS 7.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Apple iPad 4 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 have extremely similar processors, because although the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 processing cores, it also counts with more RAM memory.
The Apple iPad 4 counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a better resolution of 1536 x 2048px. The iPad 4 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than iPad 4, because it has 384 GB more internal storage capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Apple iPad 4 one.
