The Apple iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is way better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's global score of 58.1. The Apple iPad 4 comes with iOS 7.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with Android 4.0.4 OS. The Apple iPad 4 is a somewhat heavier and just a little thicker device than the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
The iPad 4 has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher count of pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048. IPad 4 features a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the iPad 4 also has an extra graphics processing unit.
IPad 4 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPad 4 takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same video quality, the Apple iPad 4 also has faster 30 fps video frame rates and a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a way better battery life than iPad 4.
IPad 4 costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
