IPad 4 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), with a general score of 70.8 against 65. IPad 4 has iOS 7.x OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 OS. The iPad 4 design is just a little thinner but somewhat heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). The iPad 4 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). They have 1 GB of RAM, a 400 MHz graphics co-processor and the same number of cores.
The iPad 4 counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better screen pixel density and a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution. The Apple iPad 4 has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Apple iPad 4 also has a back camera with lot more MP.
The iPad 4 features a much bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery performance than iPad 4.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). If you want to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
