Apple iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's 67.8 global score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Apple iPad 4 body is thicker and way heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
The iPad 4 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although it has a slower 400 MHz graphics co-processor, lesser RAM and 2 less CPU cores. The iPad 4 features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of screen and a lot better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
Apple iPad 4 has a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a much higher resolution back camera. Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
