Apple iPad 4 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), having a score of 70.8 against 60.4. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Apple iPad 4 is a a bit thicker and extremely heavier portable tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016). Apple iPad 4 comes with iOS 7.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Apple iPad 4 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has 512 MB less RAM memory and lesser cpu cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Apple iPad 4 counts with a way better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot better resolution of 1536 x 2048px, a way larger display and a just a bit better number of pixels in each display inch.
The iPad 4 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have a 5 megapixels resolution back camera, the iPad 4 also has a way better video resolution. The iPad 4 features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a much longer battery performance than Apple iPad 4.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPad 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A (2016), resigning some features and specs.
