IPad 4 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, getting a 70.8 score against 62.8. The iPad 4 has iOS 7.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. The iPad 4 design is noticeably thicker and way heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. IPad 4 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a much higher screen pixel density, a lot better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a larger display.
IPad 4 counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. IPad 4 counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has lesser cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Apple iPad 4 captures way better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a 5 mega pixels camera in the back, the Apple iPad 4 also has a way better (Full HD) video quality. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a much longer battery lifetime than iPad 4.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPad 4, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, giving up some features and specifications.
