The iPad 4 has a score of 70.8, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 score. Although it's the best we compare here, iPad 4 is a much heavier and a lot thicker tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. IPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.
Apple iPad 4 features a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has less CPU cores and 512 MB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. IPad 4 counts with a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a same size display, the iPad 4 also has a much higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 and way more pixels per inch of screen.
The Apple iPad 4 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a 5 megapixels back facing camera, the Apple iPad 4 also has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPad 4, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, letting go a couple specifications.
