The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is just a bit better than Apple iPad 4, with a score of 74.5 against 70.8. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Apple iPad 4 works with iOS 7.x operating system. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter tablet than the Apple iPad 4.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit better CPU than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and more processing cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a bit better looking screen than iPad 4, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better count of pixels per display inch and a quite better 2560 x 1600 resolution.
IPad 4 takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video definition and a back facing camera with a way lower 5 mega-pixels resolution. The iPad 4 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a very superior battery life than Apple iPad 4.
