Comparison review
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is slightly better than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, getting a 77 score against 75.2. The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is a much newer tablet than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it is a lot heavier and just a little thicker. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU and 2 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has an extra graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much more vibrant display than iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 2560 x 1600 and more pixels per display inch. IPad 9.7-inch (2018) features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has slower video frame rates, they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same 1920x1080 video resolution. The Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 8827mAh battery size instead of 4800mAh.
Although Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, resigning a couple specs and features.
