Comparison review
The iPad 3 has a score of 71.1, which is just a bit better than Apple iPad 9.7-inch's 65.4 global score. Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must note that it's also a much older, thicker and incredibly heavier tablet. Both devices in our current comparison work with iOS OS (Operating System), but iPad 3 has newer 6.1 version and Apple iPad 9.7-inch has iOS 13.x.
IPad 3 has a brighter screen than iPad 9.7-inch. Both of them have the same resolution of 1536 x 2048, a display of the same size and a better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. IPad 9.7-inch has a faster processor than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the iPad 9.7-inch also has more RAM memory.
Apple iPad 3 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than iPad 9.7-inch. The iPad 3 counts with improved battery lifetime than iPad 9.7-inch, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity instead of 8827mAh. The iPad 9.7-inch takes clearer photographs and videos than iPad 3, and although they both have a F2.4 camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the iPad 9.7-inch also has a camera with lot more MP.
IPad 3 is more expensive than iPad 9.7-inch, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
