Comparison review
IPod touch 6th generation is slightly better than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, with a 65.6 score against 65.4. The iPod touch 6th generation is an older tablet than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch, but Apple managed to build it incredibly thinner and extremely lighter. Both tablets in this comparison review use iOS operating system, but the iPod touch 6th generation has an older 12.x version while Apple iPad 9.7-inch has iOS 13.x version.
Apple iPad 9.7-inch has just a little better processing power than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad 9.7-inch also has a higher amount of RAM memory. IPod touch 6th generation has a sharper display than iPad 9.7-inch, because although it has a really smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 640 x 1136px, it also counts with a little greater amount of pixels per display inch.
IPod touch 6th generation's camera is very similar to iPad 9.7-inch's camera, both have a back-facing camera with an 8 MP resolution, a same size diafragm aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition. The iPod touch 6th generation has much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad 9.7-inch.
The iPad 9.7-inch counts with a much longer battery lifetime than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity.
Although Apple iPod touch 6th generation is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad 9.7-inch. If you want to save some dollars, you can get iPad 9.7-inch, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
