Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is much better than iPad 9.7-inch's 65.4 global score. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while iPad 9.7-inch works with iOS 13.x operating system. Although it's the best in this review, we must note that it is also older, extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a bit sharper screen than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, because although it has a little lower amount of pixels per screen inch and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2160px, it also counts with a larger display. Apple iPad 9.7-inch has a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 2 cpu cores.
IPad 9.7-inch takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the iPad 9.7-inch also has a camera with a way better 8 megapixels resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPad 9.7-inch.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch counts with a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPad 9.7-inch. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the iPad 9.7-inch, letting go some features and specifications.
