Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a score of 70, which is slightly better than iPad 9.7-inch's 65.4 global score. Galaxy Tab Active 2 works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, and iPad 9.7-inch works with iOS 13.x OS. Although the Galaxy Tab Active 2 and iPad 9.7-inch were released only 7 months apart, Galaxy Tab Active 2's design is somewhat lighter but also noticeably thicker than iPad 9.7-inch.
IPad 9.7-inch features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a greater pixels number in each inch of display, a much higher 1536 x 2048px resolution and a bigger display. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit more powerful processor than iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more cpu cores (although slower).
IPad 9.7-inch captures better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 2. They have the same video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a back camera with an 8 mega pixels. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB.
IPad 9.7-inch has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity against 4450mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Apple iPad 9.7-inch. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Apple iPad 9.7-inch, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
