The Galaxy Tab Active has a global score of 67, which is a little bit better than Apple iPad 9.7-inch's general score of 65.4. The Galaxy Tab Active is a notably older and thicker tablet than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, but Samsung made it lighter anyway. Galaxy Tab Active comes with Android 4.4 OS, while Apple iPad 9.7-inch works with iOS 13.x OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has just a bit better screen than iPad 9.7-inch, although it has a lot lower pixel density, a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800 and a bit smaller screen. Galaxy Tab Active has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The iPad 9.7-inch counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (although faster) and doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 512 MB more RAM. IPad 9.7-inch counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Apple iPad 9.7-inch. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Apple iPad 9.7-inch, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
