Comparison review
Apple iPad Air 2 has a score of 79.3, which is much better than iPad 3's 71.1 global score. Apple iPad Air 2's body is extremely newer, a lot lighter and extremely thinner than the iPad 3. These devices work with iOS OS (operating system), but the Apple iPad Air 2 has newer 8.x version while iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 version.
IPad Air 2 features a quite better processing power than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processor and more RAM. The iPad Air 2 features a little more vivid display than Apple iPad 3. Both of them have a display with the same size, the same screen density and the same exact 2048 x 1536 resolution.
The iPad Air 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than iPad 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory. IPad 3 features a much better battery lifetime than iPad Air 2, because it has a 57 percent greater battery size. The iPad Air 2 features a bit better camera than iPad 3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a same size camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the iPad Air 2 also has a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, iPad Air 2 is also cheaper than the other tablet, making this tablet a simple decision.
