Comparison review
The iPad Air (2019) is slightly better than the iPad Air 2, getting an 85.9 score against 79.3. The iPad Air (2019) design has the same thickness than iPad Air 2, but it's a little heavier. IPad Air 2 counts with a little bit better looking display than Apple iPad Air (2019), although it has a just a bit worse pixels amount in each inch of display, a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower 2048 x 1536 resolution.
IPad Air (2019) features much more storage for apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. IPad Air (2019) features a greater processing power than Apple iPad Air 2, and although they both have a 64 bits processing unit, the iPad Air (2019) also has 1 GB more RAM memory and 7 more cores.
IPad Air (2019) shoots clearer pictures and videos than Apple iPad Air 2, and although they both have a same size aperture, a same resolution back camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the iPad Air (2019) also has faster 120 frames per second video frame rates. IPad Air (2019) has just a bit longer battery duration than iPad Air 2, because it has an 8134mAh battery size.
Although iPad Air (2019) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Apple iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Apple iPad Air 2. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Apple iPad Air 2, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
