IPad Pro has a general score of 79.5, which is a bit better than iPad Air 2's overall score of 79.3. Both tablets in this comparison use iOS OS, but iPad Pro has a more recent 9.x version and iPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x. Although iPad Pro is newer than iPad Air 2, it is somewhat thicker and extremely heavier.
IPad Pro features a screen that is very similar to the Apple iPad Air 2 one, although the iPad Pro also has a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a better 2732 x 2048 pixels resolution and a really bigger screen. The Apple iPad Air 2 features a little faster processing unit than Apple iPad Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
IPad Air 2 takes clearer pictures and videos than iPad Pro. Both have a F2.4 aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same resolution camera. IPad Pro's storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Apple iPad Air 2 one, both of them have the same internal storage.
The Apple iPad Pro features a much longer battery duration than iPad Air 2, because it has a 10307mAh battery size.
Although iPad Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the iPad Air 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy iPad Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the iPad Air 2, giving up a couple features and specs.
