Comparison review
IPad Pro 12.9-inch has a global score of 89.8, which is better than the iPad Air 2's score of 79.3. Even though the iPad Pro 12.9-inch is newer than iPad Air 2, it's thicker and heavier. IPad Air 2 counts with a little bit better screen than iPad Pro 12.9-inch, although it has a really smaller display, a much lower resolution of 2048 x 1536px and a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen.
IPad Pro 12.9-inch has a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch has a little better hardware performance than iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits, it also counts with 5 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
IPad Pro 12.9-inch has a really longer battery lifetime than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has 10891mAh of battery capacity. IPad Pro 12.9-inch features a better camera than iPad Air 2, because it has a way more megapixels camera, a lot higher (4K) video quality and a lot bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in poorly lited situations.
Although Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Apple iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPad Air 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Apple iPad Air 2, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
