Comparison review
The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) has a global score of 81.1, which is a little bit better than iPad Air 2's 79.3 global score. Even though the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is way heavier than iPad Air 2, it's just a little thinner and way newer. The iPad Air 2 has a slightly better looking screen than iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), although it has a just a little worse pixel density, a much lower resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a really smaller display.
IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) features a bit better processor than iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bit processor against 64-bits, it also counts with 7 more cpu cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) captures much better photographs and videos than iPad Air 2, because it has a way better (4K) video resolution, a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low-light environments and a much better resolution back camera.
The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018), because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. IPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) features greater battery performance than Apple iPad Air 2, because it has a 9720mAh battery capacity.
Although Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than iPad Air 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPad Air 2. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the iPad Air 2, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
