Apple iPad Air 2 is much better than the iPod touch 6th generation, having a global score of 79.3 against 65.6. Both of these tablets use iOS OS (Operating System), but Apple iPad Air 2 has newer 8.x version while iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x version, giving a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. Apple iPad Air 2's design has the same thickness than the iPod touch 6th generation, but it is noticeably heavier.
