The iPad Air 2 is much better than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, with a overall score of 79.3 against 58.7. The iPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface 9 Pro comes with Windows operating system. IPad Air 2's design is a lot lighter and noticeably thinner than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
Apple iPad Air 2 features a lot better looking display than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a much smaller screen, a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a lot worse 2048 x 1536px resolution. Microsoft Surface 9 Pro counts with as much memory to store more games and applications as the Apple iPad Air 2, both of them have the same internal storage capacity.
IPad Air 2 features a way better processing power than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Single-Core processor, the iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64 bits processor. IPad Air 2 has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.
