Comparison review
The iPad Air 2 has an overall score of 79.3, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface Go's 66.5 general score. The iPad Air 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 OS. The iPad Air 2 construction is noticeably thinner and lighter than Microsoft Surface Go, even though it was released 4 years before.
The iPad Air 2 has a much better display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The Microsoft Surface Go's memory capacity for apps and games is very similar to the iPad Air 2 one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Apple iPad Air 2 features a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. IPad Air 2 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Go. They have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates.
The Apple iPad Air 2 has a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Go.
Despite of being the best tablet in our current comparison, Apple iPad Air 2 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it very easy to pick between these tablets.
