IPad Air 2 has a general score of 79.3, which is way better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2's 65.1 general score. The iPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. IPad Air 2's construction is newer, a lot thinner and extremely lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The Apple iPad Air 2 has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The iPad Air 2 counts with a little faster processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has less RAM and 1 less and slower processing cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
The iPad Air 2 has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher video quality. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPad Air 2, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. IPad Air 2 features a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
