IPad Air 2 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, with a overall score of 79.3 against 75.1. IPad Air 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 4 works with Windows 10 Pro OS. Although the iPad Air 2 is older than the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, it's construction is incredibly thinner and much lighter.
The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a way smaller display, a little lower number of pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse resolution of 2048 x 1536px. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than iPad Air 2, because it has 1000 GB internal memory capacity.
The Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a much more powerful processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a higher number of faster cores.
