IPad Air 2 is a lot better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, having a global score of 79.3 against 65. IPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x operating system, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 works with Windows 8 operating system. IPad Air 2 is a newer tablet, and it is also thinner and a lot lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
The iPad Air 2 counts with a better display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixel number per inch in the display and a lot better 2048 x 1536 resolution. The iPad Air 2 has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
IPad Air 2 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has less and slower cores, and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64-bits processor. The iPad Air 2 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the iPad Air 2 also has a back facing camera with a lot better 8 MP resolution.
The Apple iPad Air 2 features a much longer battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
IPad Air 2 costs a lot more money than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
