Apple iPad Air (2019) has a general score of 85.9, which is a lot better than the Apple iPad 4's 70.8 global score. The Apple iPad Air (2019) body is noticeably thinner and extremely lighter than the Apple iPad 4. Apple iPad Air (2019) features a much better performance than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM.
Apple iPad 4 has a little sharper screen than iPad Air (2019), although it has a little bit worse screen density, a bit worse resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a quite smaller screen. IPad Air (2019) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Apple iPad 4, and although they both have the same video quality and a same size aperture, the iPad Air (2019) also has higher 120 fps video frame rates and a camera in the back with a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
The Apple iPad Air (2019) has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than iPad 4, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The iPad Air (2019) features a way better battery performance than Apple iPad 4.
