IPad Air (2019) is better than the Apple iPad Air, having a overall score of 85.9 against 74.1. IPad Air (2019) is a way newer tablet, and it is also way thinner and just a bit lighter than Apple iPad Air. IPad Air (2019) has a superior hardware performance than Apple iPad Air, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have a 64-bits processor, the iPad Air (2019) also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
IPad Air features a little more vivid screen than iPad Air (2019), although it has a bit worse resolution of 1536 x 2048, a quite smaller screen and a quite lower amount of pixels per inch of screen. IPad Air (2019) shoots better photos and videos than iPad Air, and although they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the iPad Air (2019) also has faster 120 fps video frame rates and a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels.
The Apple iPad Air (2019) has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad Air, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. IPad Air features just a bit longer battery duration than Apple iPad Air (2019), because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity against 8134mAh.
Although Apple iPad Air (2019) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPad Air, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad Air. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy iPad Air, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
