IPad Air 2 is a a little bit lighter tablet than Apple iPad Air (2020), but both of them are equally thin. The iPad Air 2 works with iOS 8.x OS, while Apple iPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x OS. The iPad Air (2020) counts with a better processing power than Apple iPad Air 2, and although they both have a 64 bits processing unit, the iPad Air (2020) also has more cpu cores.
IPad Air 2 has a slightly better screen than Apple iPad Air (2020), although it has a little bit lower resolution of 2048 x 1536px and a quite smaller screen, they both have a greater quantity of pixels per display inch.
